After graduating from medical school at Touro University Nevada, Dr. Brooks
Beal completed his Family Medicine Residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in
Kirksville, MO. There, he was voted Chief Resident over the family residency program
as well as all other residency programs at the hospital. Dr. Beal has always loved
teaching and after his training he became faculty at ATSU medical school and faculty at
the Family Medicine Residency program where he practiced both inpatient and
outpatient medicine. Due to his experience with academic medicine, Dr. Beal was
recruited to teach as an Assistant Professor of Primary Care Medicine at RVU in Ivins
Utah. His medical interests include preventative medicine, sports medicine, rural
medicine, palliative care and pediatrics.
In his spare time, Dr. Beal enjoys fishing, hunting, most sports, traveling and
spending time with his family.

Dr. Colby Beal, DO
Pain & Rehab Management
Dr. Colby Beal, Medical Director, is dedicated to provide the Southern Utah community
with the most comprehensive and effective pain & rehab programs available. After
finishing medical school at Touro University Nevada, he moved to Texas where he
completed a residency in PM&R and was able to serve as chief resident. This was
followed by a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management where he was honored to
be the recipient of the Ramamurthy Fellow-of-the-Year award, and gained a great
amount of knowledge of how to effectively treat many types of pain.
Dr. Beal is now a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician, as well as a fellowship-trained and board-certified Pain Management Specialist. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physicians, or Physiatrists, are nerve, muscle, and bone experts who treat injuries or illnesses that affect how you move and function. Acute and chronic pain issues also greatly affect our function and quality of life, and our goal is to improve both.


Maranda Carlile
Family Nurse Practitioner
Maranda is a board-certified family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She graduated in 2016 with her Masters of Science degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with honors. Maranda Received her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah in 2003.She has an extensive medical background with over 22 years of experience in women’s health, pediatrics, family medicine, sexual assault examination, pain management, neurotoxin (Botox/Xeomin) injections, weight management, hormone replacement therapy, medical cannabis consultations and more. In her free time, Maranda enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Together they enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. Her hobbies include swimming, biking, and running marathons.
