Dr. Colby Beal, Medical Director, is dedicated to provide the Southern Utah community with the most comprehensive and effective pain & rehab programs available. After finishing medical school at Touro University Nevada, he moved to Texas where he completed a residency in PM&R and was able to serve as chief resident. This was followed by a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management where he was honored to be the recipient of the Ramamurthy Fellow-of-the-Year award, and gained a great amount of knowledge of how to effectively treat many types of pain.
Dr. Beal is now a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician, as well as a fellowship-trained and board-certified Pain Management Specialist. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physicians, or Physiatrists, are nerve, muscle, and bone experts who treat injuries or illnesses that affect how you move and function. Acute and chronic pain issues also greatly affect our function and quality of life, and our goal is to improve both.

After graduating from medical school at Touro University Nevada, Dr. Brooks Beal completed his Family Medicine Residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. There, he was voted Chief Resident over the family residency program as well as all other residency programs at the hospital. Dr. Beal has always loved teaching and after his training he became faculty at ATSU medical school and faculty at the Family Medicine Residency program where he practiced both inpatient and outpatient medicine. Due to his experience with academic medicine, Dr. Beal was recruited to teach as an Assistant Professor of Primary Care Medicine at RVU in Ivins Utah. His medical interests include preventative medicine, sports medicine, rural medicine, palliative care and pediatrics.
